Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Spring

Spring is coming
This has been a long, cold, and extremely difficult winter for Bob and I this year.  Both Bob and I will be extremely happy when spring arrives.  In front of our garage and the side walk close to it nearest our house are  extreme sheet of ice.  We have been leaving the car out on lawn near our steps. Our mayor has scooped out the area for us with his tractor.  We really appreciate it.  We are ready to see robins, tulips, hyacinths, iris, and green yards again.  Oh spring, oh spring please hurry!

Spring Arrived

SPRING ARRIVED
Yes spring has officially arrived.  Our Iris, Tulips,  & Peony brush are peeking through the ground. The temps have been a little nicer.  I see on our forecast that we do have anywhere from 20% to 50% chance of rain/snow mix from Saturday night through Monday morning.  Most of MN is considered in a drought.  The Southwest corner of the state is dry, but not considered part of the drought area.  We could definitly  use moisture.

Spring

The weather man on our home page for this area said it is officially 60 days till spring. That is wonderful. We have lots of snow this winter. It is beautiful. Also this year the storms or flurries have been close enough to keep it looking beautiful and white.

Spring

I absolutely love spring!!! All the things we planted last summer are up and doing well. Today I purchased some pansies, a flower with a tiny white bloom, and one hosta to fill in a space around our maple tree. Pansies always reminds me of my Dad. My irises remind me of my Mom. I miss both of them very much. So I got my hands dirty planting those. Some Pelicans have returned to a couple lakes around here, but they aren't all back yet. We purchased a sprayer to spray the two apple trees we purchased last year. The gentleman at the greenhouse said to wait till all the blossoms are gone. before spraying. My rhubarb is looking real good and I plan to take some and make rhubarb crisp tomorrow. Oh my crocus are blooming also. We will need to mow the lawn again tomorrow also. Hope you are all enjoying this beautiful season. Oh Spring,Oh Spring, Oh SPRING, Oh SPRING. The farmers are in the field. One of our friends, a farmer has planted 1,000 acres of corn and another 1400 acres of corn. Our neighbor said he saw some corn up already about 20 miles from here.
