Children of the Heavenly Father

I am so glad that because Jesus was willing to laid down his life and shed His blood for my sins I can claim that I am His child!  I am thankful we can go directly to God in prayer because of the price He paid.  There is a hymn I need thee every hour.  Oh how very much I feel that need.

Children of the Heavenly Father

Today at church we sang this beautiful song. When we become a child of God through the new birth provided for us by admitting our sin and repenting, and turning from sin and placing our trust in God's provision, the shed blood of Christ Jesus we then become as the title of this hymn says. "Children of the Heavenly Father".
