THANKFUL

Thankful.
  A few things I am thankful for today Bob & I were able to get our house reasonably cleaned .  I cleaned the oven and the top of stove.  It feels so good to have that job done.  We both felt pretty good today. I have an over flowing basket of ironing.  That means we have clothes.  We have food,  we have shelter.  We have the assurance that God loves and cares for us.  What are you thankful for?

Tonight at 10:30 pm The actual temp -8 with wind chill of -31.
The electricity was out for 10 minutes this afternoon. I am praying it will stay on tonight.
We have stayed in today and stayed in our PJ's.

Slowing Down

Slowing Down
I have noticed that I have really been slowing down.  This year I hope to still get Christmas cards out to all family members.  No Christmas cookies baked.  Not much shopping this year.  Have gone to chiropractor four times in the month.  Will go again Monday if weather permits.

THIS &THAT
I had my booster pneumonia  shot today.  Spent about an hour an a half with the little kids here in Trimont that calls us Grandma & Grandpa.  Always a joy to be around children.  Cammie (three)  did my hair.  Remembered when our daughter was little and did my hair.Put moist heat on my neck and shoulders.  They are very sore may have to go to the chiropractor.  Bob has been bagging leafs and staying up with them.  What have you been doing?

I'm borrowing my "Title" from a friends blog.
I have been doing allot of knitting. I'm working on a baby blanket right now. It is for a girl. (mint green) Seems like when I knit I don't get as much other things done.
I washed and ironed my kitchen curtains. I have three windows.
I have been having pain in my right leg when I'm on it for a couple hours.
Really missing our kids.
Really enjoyed a book Lizzie gave me called "An Unlikely Blessing".
The ladies Bible study I attended just started " He Is My Freedom".
Plan to go to my niece, Violets on Friday. Then she and I are going to my sister-in-laws, her Aunts 80th birthday open house on Sat. the 2nd. Please pray for safety for us.
