Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

50th Wedding Anniversary

50th Anniversary
Bob and Esther's 50th wedding anniversary was on September 10th.  What a wonderful anniversary to celebrate.  We actually started celebrating about a week early.  Then our children gave us a expense paid trip to Duluth, MN where we spent  2 1/2 days.  We had a very good time.  Friends took us out for lunch in Fairmont at the Channel Inn. Then a surprise party in the park after lunch.  We were both very surprise.  Friends from our neighborhood attended and from our church in Fairmont and a church we attended for about 1 1/2 years in Trimont. We had a wonderful time.  God drew us together and He has truly blessed our lives in so many ways.

Our Anniversary in 2016

Our anniversary in 2016
Our anniversary in 2016 will be our 50th anniversary.  So we talked to both of the kids if we could maybe get together and do something just ourselves for it.  Not lots of people.  Hope it will work out.

Thank You

Thank You
On Wednesday I saw the surgeon. He will do the surgery I need. He put me on a hormone treatment to strengthen some tissue before surgery. No date has been set. He said that if surgery were done now the tissue would tear. I will see him again. November 9th. One nervous concern addressed.
This morning my primary care doctor called. He had received the report back on the heart monitor I wore for 24 hours. A very good report. My numbers had not fallen into a danger area while sleeping. My heart had skipped a couple beats, but he said that is not real unusual or of concern. So second concern addressed.
THANK YOU for your prayers.
Today is our 44 th wedding anniversary.

Anniversary

It was two years ago today that we moved to our new home here in southwest Minnesota.
We really like it here. We are in a small town but so close to the edge of town that we like to think we are in the country. In our married life we have lived in a total of 18 houses, duplex's, or apartments. We have lived in six different states. No we weren't in the service, but schooling and jobs have caused our moves. We both grew up on farms so loved being involved in this area of many farmers.
