Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

COLORED LEAFS

Colored Leafs
Bob and I decided on the spur of the moment Saturday to go on a drive to view colored leafs; the area (Red Wing) we chose was at their peak.  We knew we were going  to have to stay over night somewhere.  We don't drive after dark.  Well it was just turning dark when we arrived where we planned to stay.  We checked at three different motels and no vacancy.  I asked what was happening. The answer: People from out of the area viewing colored leafs.  So I asked if they could call the next city down the road for us.  They did and we were able to reserve one of the two rooms left there.  The next city was about 30 miles away.  We grabbed a sandwich ,bananas, and some donuts at a Casey's and headed for our room.  Bob had to drive in the dark, but he said it wasn't as bad as before he had his cataract surgery.  I was glad to hear that, but I still was a little afraid.  Anyway we had a good time.

Traveling South

Traveling South no we aren't, but the birds are. We had nine robins visit our back yard this afternoon. Oh the last two morning our back yard has been covered with frost also. Beautiful colors on many of the trees. I love living where there is change of seasons. The farmers have much of their soy beans harvested and soon will come the corn. The report that the crops in this area are very good. (Some lost in water standing in fields.) We had 10 inches in two days.
