Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Authorized King James Version

Safe in the Arms of Jesus

Safe in the arms of Jesus, Safe on His gentle breast, There by His
love o'ershaded, Sweetly my soul shall rest. Hark! 'tis the voice of
angels, Borne in a song to me, Over the fields of glory,
Over the jasper sea.

Refrain:
Safe in the arms of Jesus, Safe on His gentle breast, There by His love o'er shaded, Sweetly my soul shall rest.

Safe in the arms of Jesus, Safe from corroding care, Safe from the
world's temptations, Sin cannot harm me there. Free from the blight of
sorrow, Free from my doubts and fears; Only a few more trials,
only a few more tears!

Jesus, my heart's dear refuge, Jesus has died for me: Firm on the
Rock of Ages, Ever my trust shall be, Here let me wait with patience, Wait till the night is o'er; Wait till I see the morning
Break on the golden shore.

I often remind myself to crawl up on Jesus lap and just let me be held in His Strong arms. His strong arms of love around me is always such a comfort. There were two days this week when I took myself off His lap and I was stressed to the max. Yesterday I had my hair done. Darnel, my hairdresser a sweet sweet Christian lady and I were talking and I had shared how stressed I felt. I was sharing concerns I have for our daughter having some health problems. She so sweetly reminded me "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind" ll Timothy 1:7. There is nothing I can do, but pray and trust God will use the Doctors to perform the needed surgery that will bring about her healing.

My Anchor Holds

My Anchor Holds
My husband and I know this beautiful couple. We actually have adopted them as our other kids. They have been going through almost unbelievable trials and tribulations for a number of years. Has it been easy for them NO NOT BY ANY MEANS. God has been faithful to them and they to Him. Their lives are a testimony of God's provision for needs. These hard times have drawn them closer to the Lord and closer to each other. God's love cements them together . Praise God! I would ask that you pray for them. I will simply call them, Mr. & Mrs. True Testimony. God knows their real names. Their lives touch many others each day. They desire to be used of God. He has been using them. They bless our lives.

My Anchor Holds
Tho the angry surges roll On my tempest driven soul,
I am peaceful for I know, Wildly though the winds my blow,
I've an anchor safe and sure, That can evermore endure.

Chorus:
And it holds my anchor holds; Blow your wildest then, O
gale, On my bark so small and frail: By His grace I shall not fail

Mighty tides about me sweep, Perils lurk within the deep,
Angry clouds o'er-shade the sky, And the tempest rises high;
Still I stand the tempest's shock, For my anchor grips the Rock.

I can feel the anchor fast As I meet each sudden blast,
And the cable, though unseen, Bears the heavy strain between;
Thro' the storm I safely ride, Till the turning of the tide.

Troubles almost 'whelm the soul; Griefs like billows o'er me roll;
Tempters seek to lure a stray; Storms obscure the light of day:
But in Christ I can be bold, I've an anchor that shall hold.
