Friends

Isn't it great to have friends. I want to tell you about one of my friends, (Nila). Wednesday afternoon Nila called and asked if she could come over for tea. I said yes, then she said, but I'm not done so I said yes. She asked if she could bring Lue, and Linnea with. I said of course and then she said I just took two pans of cinnamon buns out of the oven and I'll bring one pan with. They all came and we had such a wonderful time of fellowship. I love all these ladies. They are a part of a Bible study group I attend on Tuesday mornings here in town. I'm glad my friend felt comfortable enough with our friendship that she could do that.

Christian Fellowship, Cleaning, Friends

This week has been a fun week so far. I invited a friend to go for coffee yesterday (Wednesday) morning. We had such sweet fellowship around our Lord. Then she invited me to go to a neighboring town. We got a lot done that we each needed to do. We laughed a lot. Aren't friends wonderful. Tuesday I attended a Bible study with other ladies and my husband attended a Men's Fellowship. This morning our YAH group (Young AT Heart) meets. We roll bandages for missionaries. How blessed I am to have friends and Christian Fellowship. I praise God for both. Now when this afternoon arrives I need to get down to some cleaning. I got my ironing and laundry all caught up, but in this past week I have found three dust bunnies. (That's bad news) Yesterday a neighbor helped my husband lift two window air conditioners into place.

Time just keeps marching on

Time just keeps marching on.
WOW Where does the time go?
We spent a week in Oshkosh,WI with many friends we know there. The time just flew.
We were blessed by getting to attend our old church there. We had wonderful fellowship with the saints there. Also were able to arrange a lunch out with the Pastor and his wife. Good to hear of God's work going forward there.
Today our first and oldest grandson turned 18. We didn't get to be with him in California,but trust he had a GREAT day.
Also today 18 years ago was Sally's Dad's funeral. He was a wonderful, sweetheart of a man. I miss my Dad a lot.
I will quit rambling for tonight and I will try to write more frequent in the further.
Oh, by the way it is 32 degrees here right now. My husband said maybe I should put flannel sheets on soon.

Christian Fellowship
I started going back to a ladies Bible study that meets in our town on Tuesday morning. The men meet at the same time in different room. It is good to study with other women and then have a prayer time together. It didn't meet during the summer. Oh would you believe it reminds me of a song.

Christian Fellowship

Call a Christian friend or two, some who love the Lord like you,
and talk about the answers to your prayers.
