Doing for others

Doing for others!!!
I like to try and keep busy doing for others that it may bring glory and honor to Our Saviour and Lord. Last night I met with several other ladies in our little town to tie quilts. We meet the last Wednesday of each month at one of my friends church. The quilts are send to missions around the world. Also as a part of that group I have been making baby caps to include in Midwife Kits. As of today I am working on #75 baby cap. These are sent around the world also by Global Health Ministries. Sometime in the next week we are going to get together and tie a fleece crib sized blanket for a young couple expecting a little boy very soon. I have the two pieces of fleece cut to size and we will cut and tie the edge when we get together. As we have fun and fellowship we help others with needs. This afternoon I have baked three loafs of bread (zucchini) and four loafs of (pumpkin) bread. They are for a bake sale on October 31 the proceeds plus food and paper items donated will go to benefit a young family in the area. They have two kids and Daddy has been in the hospital for over a month with a mystery sickness the doctors have not figured out yet.

This all reminds me of a song which is my desire and my prayer.
